MOCHCare is a designed and developed digital maternal and child health record platform where Healthcare Providers collect and store maternal data to mitigate the effects of the shortage, misplacement, mishandling of the maternal and child health record booklet.
Its functions are to keep records of all mothers and children, alert the healthcare provider of all those that miss their appointments and keep track of referred mothers and newborns with SMS/Voice SMS to Mothers. The components of the MOCHCare applications are the Data Tool which is used to collect and store data of pregnant women and children, The Digital Community is where the healthcare provider and the mother collaborate, learn and discussed all issues pertaining maternity, the mobile app helps mothers to track their health information that is recorded into the data tool and the Cloud dashboard collates all data and generating them into a report for the healthcare.
